Coronavirus Update

Good afternoon.

I hope you are well and have had the chance to enjoy the fine weather we were treated to up until Wednesday! This week’s update is shorter than usual, as I intend to write to you early next week to outline our plans for the rest of this term; these need a little more time to be finalised. I hope this is okay. 

Next week’s update will include our proposals for Year 10, and outline plans for the remainder of the term for Year 7, 8 and 9. We have been working on these proposals with staff throughout this week and, as you know, we have also been running inductions so staff know how to operate with larger numbers of students on the school site. It has been a good and productive week, and I look forward to sharing further details with you next week.

Finally, I am delighted to report that students are continuing to produce superb online work – thank you so much for your support with this. As usual, we will be setting work for midday on Monday (8 June), which will need to be completed by 10.00am on Friday 12 June.
