Delicious food from Dulcie15 March 2016
Dulcie Van-den-Heuval from Year 9 competed in the Rotary Young Chef South West Region final on Saturday 12th March. Dulcie had to travel to Paignton in Devon to compete, as she had already got through three rounds of the competition. Dulcie’s three course menu was based around the theme of “A taste from around the world”. We have included her menu below which is sure to tantalise your taste buds!
Starter: Italian bruschetta, with avocado, balsamic baby tomatoes and basil.
Main Course: Moroccan fish parcel with spiced couscous, served with a lemon and cumin dip.
Dessert: A trio of cheesecakes; key lime, peach melba and tropical.
The College is extremely proud of Dulcie’s achievements. She came fourth out of the whole of the South West and was the youngest chef who took part… congratulations Dulcie!
