02 March 2016

Penryn College hosted a night to celebrate the achievements of pupils who had shown the most progress over the previous term.

Guests were treated to a buffet and a selection of soft drinks before heading in to attend the celebrations, hosted in the Kernewek Hall. The evening brought together pupils, Heads of House and relatives to celebrate the pupils’ achievements and provided an opportunity for them to receive their certificates.

Keynote speaker of the evening was local entrepreneur and business woman, Amanda Barlow, Managing Director of Spiezia Organics, a skincare range with an ethos of healthy and wholesome living. Amanda’s speech brought together advice for students and parents alike, including the importance of purpose to help achieve your goals and how exercise is great for stimulating brain power.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the Head Boy and Head Girl announced the winners in each category. The Heads of House provided special recommendations on pupils who had shown the most progress and presented them individually with their own personal messages.
