Building Community Relationships

As part of an initiative to build relationships between the police, young people and the wider community, local police officers Becky Bromley and Helen Newton visit Penryn College – along with a number of other schools in the local area – on a regular basis.

PCSO Bromley, PC Newton, and other members of their team, lead informative assemblies, Lifeskills lessons and mix with students during lunchtimes. As a result of this, they have built some great relationships with our pupils – who are very open to asking the officers any questions they may have.

We look forward to continuing this partnership, and would like to thank Becky, Helen and all members of their team for their efforts.
