Cocoa Donations Prove Valuable for Gardening Club

06 October 2023

This week saw our Gardening Club pupils place donated cocoa pod husks into their flower beds to improve the soil and keep the winter weeds away!

Cocoa pod husks are a by-product of cocoa production obtained after removing the beans from the fruit, and are used by gardeners across the world to increase soil vitality and provide attractive top cover for flower beds.

The husks were kindly donated by Falmouth-based chocolatier, Chocolarder!

A big thank you to Chocolarder for the very useful donations!
