Eithne and Family Make Over 100 Protective Masks for Key Workers

21 April 2020

Year 9 student, Eithne, and her family have now made over 100 protective masks for healthcare workers in Cornwall! They have also made scrubs for use in hospitals and GP surgeries across the county.

The family started their mask and scrub-making efforts in March this year, shortly after the lockdown restrictions were put in place by the UK government. Since then, Eithne has worked with her loved ones to produce hundreds of items of PPE to help key workers in Cornwall – a fantastic achievement!
