Extreme Reading – don’t try this at home!

30 November 2016

We thought you’d like to see the results of our Year 7 Extreme Reading Competition.  Every class is challenged to submit a picture of themselves reading in extreme circumstances.  It’s part of our sneaky campaign to keep reading for pleasure at the top of the agenda for busy our Year Sevens.  Next month they will all receive a brand new free book to keep – perfect for Xmas holiday reading – chosen from a fabulous short list provided by the Book Trust.

Mrs Pointon, English teacher and reading addict, said, ‘Some funny, entertaining and breath-taking entries this year – it was tough to decide the winners!’
