Humanitarian Aid Non-Uniform Day

Students are welcome to join us for a Non-Uniform Day (with suitable clothing for school) on Friday 1 April, raising funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).

The DEC brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently in times of crisis overseas.

Our suggested donation is £1.00 per participating student, and we kindly ask that pupils bring this into school and hand it to their tutor on the day.

As a community, we have the opportunity to support those who have been affected by the conflict in Ukraine. We also have the potential to raise a large sum of money, which can be used in the following ways:

– £30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month;

– £50 could provide blankets for four families;

– £100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month.
