In Memory of Marian

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of long-serving governor, Marian Proudfoot.

Marian had a real affinity with our pupils, and endeavoured to ensure each student had everything in place to enjoy a happy and positive life at Penryn College, both in and out of the classroom.

She served as a governor for over 46 years, specialising in SEN, Maths, and Creative Arts, and had a great interest in all aspects of school life. Interviews were Marian’s forte, and she thoroughly enjoyed the annual Head Boy and Head Girl interviews.

Marian devoted a great deal of her time to the school, and will be sorely missed by everyone at Penryn College.
