Mr Yule’s Insightful Coding Event

As part of our National Coding Week celebrations, our Year 7 and 8 students and their parents/carers enjoyed an exciting coding event with our Computing teacher, Mr Yule, in the STEAM department!

Mr Yule offered participants the opportunity to learn about the BBC micro:bit – a mini computer designed to inspire young people and make coding fun and easy to learn.

The session also provided parents/carers with an insight into what their children will be learning within the STEAM department.
