Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium was introduced by the Government in April 2011. It is additional funding allocated to schools to support Pupil Premium eligible pupils.

Pupil Premium eligible pupils are those who receive Free School Meals, those who have been in receipt of Free School Meals in the last six years, Looked After Children, service children and adopted children. The aim of the Pupil Premium is to close the historic attainment and progress gaps between this group of children and all other children.
