Pupils Return to Duchy College to Visit Furry Friends!

This week’s Vocational Academy visit to Duchy College Rosewarne saw students return to their favourite place: the Rabbit Den!

Our pupils got straight to work and cleaned out the rabbits, fed them and gave them fresh water. They each have their favourite rabbit and they are now experts at cleaning their pens and feeding them, as well as being much more confident in handling them.

Following this, students were able to feed the birds with live worms. To do this, they entered the Aviary and even had some birds landing on them to get their food!

At the end of the session, our pupils took part in a quiz to see how much they had learnt and did extremely well!
