Pupils Shine in UKMT Junior Maths Challenge

A huge congratulations to the 80 Penryn College students who took part in last month’s UKMT Junior Maths Challenge – a competition aimed at Year 7 and 8 pupils.

Each of our participants performed fantastically well, with six Gold Awards, 29 Silver Awards and 23 Bronze Awards earned on the day – a set of results among the best the school has produced in the two decades it has taken part.

Special mentions go to Jowan T, Henry E, Sophie H and Xavier R, who all achieved Gold Certificates and have qualified for the next round which will be held on Tuesday 11 June.
