Record Number of Pupils Taking GCSEs in Home Languages

21 April 2023

A huge congratulations to the nine students who this week sat their speaking GCSE exams in a language which they are not studying as part of their timetabled lessons.

This year, we have students who speak Arabic, French, Italian, Persian, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish who have spent time and effort developing their additional language skills in order to be able to tackle the GCSE exams one or two years early.

We wish them the best of luck in their upcoming reading, listening and writing exams!
