Netball

U15 Girl’s County Netball Tournament at Bodmin College

Friday saw our U15 Netball team place fifth out of 25 competing schools in the U15 Girl’s County Netball Tournament!

Commenting on the girls’ performances, Miss Lushington said: “A fantastic achievement by the girls, who showed determination and some fabulous netball.”

Cricket

U12 Boy’s County Cricket Tournament at Truro College

Our cricketing success continued last week as our U12 Boy’s Cricket team secured a place in the County Finals with a qualifying tournament victory.

The boys earned victories against each of their opponents (Falmouth, Camborne and Helston) thanks to great, all-round team performances on the day.

Congratulations to Jack A who was named as the Player of the Tournament following his outstanding bowling throughout the competition.

Basketball

U12 Jr. NBA Fixtures at Penryn College

Our U12 Jr. NBA team enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of basketball on Tuesday 28 February, competing against three teams in the Jr. NBA League.

The squad demonstrated great team and individual play throughout the afternoon, winning each of their games against Newquay Treviglas, Poltair, and Camborne.

Hockey

Year 7, 8 and 9 Hockey v Penair School (Home)

Last week saw our Year 7, 8 and 9 Hockey teams take part in a group set of fixtures against Penair School.

As always, the games provided some valuable match time for our pupils, who performed fantastically well.

Congratulations to Keira M and Mia P who picked up the Player of the Match awards.

Football

Year 7, 8 and 10 Football v Penair School (Away)

This week saw our Year 7, 8 and 10 Football teams continue their development with group fixtures against Penair School.

Each of the games saw our players showcase the skills and tactics they have learned in training this year, producing fine team performances.

Mr Nancarrow and Mr Bowers selected Rorey H and Henry L as the Year 7 Players of the Match.
