Students and Staff Take Part in Global Climate Strike

23 September 2019

More than 350 students and staff took part in a global reaction as part of the Global Climate Strike on Friday afternoon.

Pupils and members of staff gathered together in the Amphitheatre at the front of the school during lunch break, raising awareness of the current climate emergency, which Penryn College, in collaboration with all secondary schools in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, formally declared last week.

As part of the get together, students displayed placards and took part in chants to promote participation in saving the planet.
