Students Begin Shed Building Project with Local Company

Following donations from local property developing company, Fox Construction, three Penryn College students have taken on the challenge of building a block shed for the storage of school equipment.

The team at Fox Construction have very kindly donated supplies and supported the construction of the building so far, with students having laid over 30 blocks after just two hours’ work!

Indeed, Scott from Fox Construction has demonstrated to pupils how to cut the blocks to size, apply the cement, and position the blocks correctly using a spirit level.

Additionally, students were tasked with mixing the cement and calculating the correct ratio of materials.
