Students Experience Creative Arts at Falmouth University

As part of our Creative Arts enrichment programme, our Year 9 Drama and Dance students had the opportunity to visit the Academy of Music and Theatre Arts (AMATA) at Falmouth University’s Tremough Campus last week.

Students were given access to lessons in the specialised studios, had a look around the equipment/tech room, and explored the amazing facilities that AMATA has to offer. That was after they asked the ambassadors lots of questions about university life!

The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for students to see where and how Creative Arts is taught at the university, as well as an insight into the potential pathways into the subject in the future.

Indeed, on the walk back to Penryn College, students commented on how “they didn’t know how much Falmouth University had to offer” and how “it’s something we may consider in the future”, among other positive feedback!
