Students Shine in Rotary Young Chef Competition

Wednesday saw the first round of the Rotary Young Chef Competition take place at Penryn College, with local renowned chefs from the Greenbank Hotel and Falmouth Hotel judging the dishes!

We were blown away with the skills demonstrated by our students, with dishes including homemade pasta and mayonnaise, and delicious sauces that the judges said they would happily include on their menus!

The students represented the school fantastically well, displaying professionalism and a wonderful array of skills throughout.

Indeed, the chefs commented on the outstanding attitude of all pupils who took part, and we couldn’t be more proud of their achievements. Well done, Penryn chefs!

Harry, Leo and Charlotte will now progress to the Cornwall final, hosted by Penryn College on Monday 4 December.
