Students Take Part in UKMT Maths Challenge

This week saw 80 Penryn College pupils from Years 9, 10 and 11 take part in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, providing an opportunity for students to solve mathematical problems in many different contexts.

Additionally, Year 7 pupil, Jowan, was selected to participate in the event following his fantastic performance in the UKMT Junior Challenge last year.

We look forward to the results, which should be with us by the end of February. Below, you will find examples of the questions pupils were tasked with answering on the day!
