Extracurricular Activities

The extracurricular opportunities at Penryn College are abundant. Here you will find some of the information on what is available to students.

Clubs & Activities

Penryn College has worked hard to provide a programme of activities that we feel provide students with a chance to enrich their experience at Penryn, while also continuing to pursue work encountered within the normal school timetable.

Clubs & Activities – COVID-19

Unlike in previous years, our clubs and activities can only now contain pupils from existing year group bubbles. Many clubs will also be limited in terms of the numbers they are able to accommodate. Therefore, we are asking students to follow the links in the PDF below to sign up for the clubs. This will allow staff to plan how to safely accommodate those attending, and build a waiting list for those unable to attend.

Once at the clubs, staff will follow the existing school COVID policies or national governing body guidelines, and we would ask students to continue all the good practice they are demonstrating in school already.

EdVenture is a holiday activities programme for children aged 3-16 based at Penryn College. It strives to deliver fun, engaging education sessions across three main areas of sport, creative arts, and outdoor adventure activities.

It operates each school holiday with the exception of the Christmas break. Join the programme online today!

Out-of-School Opportunities

NCS Summer Programme with BF Adventure

NCS is a once in a lifetime opportunity open to Year 11 students. It takes place outside of term time in the summer holidays over four weeks. NCS is a part-residential experience focused around fun and discovery, with 30 hours committed to a local community project. Students work in teams of 12 to 15, meeting new people from different backgrounds.

We are excited to offer this incredible opportunity to your son/daughter and would love to see them joining us for NCS in the summer. If you have any questions about NCS, please contact us by e-mail: ncs@bfadventure.org or phone 01326 34091. For further information, please see the NCS website www.ncsyes.co.uk.
