Check out these fantastic models (below) made by Mrs Pointon’s Year 7 group, depicting the small island on which the story of Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ is set.
The task was part of Year 7’s current learning of the famous play, and pupils were asked to create a visual representation of the island.
Indeed, students used their baking skills, Lego know-how and more to create their models!

Our Year 11 Subject Review Evening will be held in school on Tuesday 10 December, from 3.40pm - 5.40pm.
Booking Appointments
- Booking will go live on Tuesday 26 November at 7.00pm. We aim to do this in the evening so as many people as possible can gain access.
- The link to access the booking system will be sent by e-mail from SchoolCloud. This will go to the 'Priority 1' contact of each student.
- Parents/carers will be able to book in three priority subjects in the first instance.
- From 7.00pm on Tuesday 3 December, parents/carers will be able to return to the booking system to book further appointments in addition to the first three if they so wish.
On the Evening
- Appointments will take place in the Main Street (bottom corridor) and Kernewek Hall - please do not arrive before your first appointment time. You will be sent a booking summary and a map ready for the day.
- If a member of staff is unable to speak to you on the evening, they will contact you at a later date.
