Year 9’s Treasure Island Trip!

Last month saw over 200 Year 9 students visit the Hall for Cornwall to watch Treasure Island – a fantastic, fun-filled, pirate-themed pantomime!

To add to the enjoyment of the day out, our Year 9 Dance and Drama pupils performed a dance routine, before our Drama pupils worked on pop-up performances for people arriving for the show!

For the main event – joined by members of our Creative Arts department and some brilliant helpers – pupils experienced the magic of a pantomime as they cheered, heckled and sang along to a show full of laughter, music, a parrot, a Cornish chough, and much more!

Reflecting on the trip, Miss Mitchell (Creative Arts), said: “It was a joy to take a year group to the theatre and we look forward to taking more students to exciting performances in the future.”
