2019 Charity Week

One of Penryn College’s most exciting weeks of the year is now underway: Charity Week!

Last month, students voted for Surfers Against Sewage – a marine conservation charity that works with communities to protect oceans, beaches, and marine life – as this year’s school charity.

Fundraising got off to a fantastic start last week, with Year 7 pupils participating in a Santa Fun Run – raising almost £100.00!

Continuing the money-raising activities, the College’s charity prefects have arranged a variety of fantastic fundraising events for this week, including Thursday’s non-uniform day! Check out the full schedule below: 

Monday 16 December: Raffle ticket sales (£1 per ticket); Gaming competition; Photo booth. 

Tuesday 17 December: Raffle ticket sales; Gaming competition; CrossFit competition.

Wednesday 18 December: Raffle ticket sales; Gaming competition; Charity cake sale. 

Thursday 19 December: Non-uniform day (£1 per student); Raffle ticket sales; Gaming competition.

Please note that raffle ticket sales and the cake sale will take place in ‘The Street’; the gaming competition in ST1, and the CrossFit competition in the Sports Hall.
