Careers Fair Inspires Next Generation of Workers

A massive thank you to the 40 businesses/professionals who attended our whole-school Careers Fair on Wednesday and provided so much insight into the many pathways available for our students.

The event ran throughout the day and saw pupils from each year group visit the attending businesses/professionals’ stalls to ask them a host of questions including:

– What skills do you look for in employees?
– What is your favourite thing about your job?
– What advice would you give to students interested in working for your company?

Students were also tasked with finding out how the businesses/professionals use the Penryn Foundations for the Future in their workplace. These foundations are:

– Working with others
– Using knowledge to explore and develop
– Taking ownership and action
– Showing respect and taking responsibility
– Being imaginative and curious

It all made for a fantastic day that we hope inspired many of our students!
