Show Jumping Delight for Imogen and Lauren

Big congratulations to Imogen (Year 8) and Lauren (Year 11), who both represented Penryn College at last month’s Cornish Schools & Colleges Team Show Jumping event at Pendarves Equestrian Centre.

Representing the school in the Novice Section, Imogen placed first in the 60-65cm Individuals and fourth in the team event.

And, representing Penryn College in the Open Section, Lauren placed first in the Tack and Turnout for Best Presentation and sixth in the team event.

Commenting on the girls’ achievements, Study Support Programme Manager, Mr Ash, said, “They have a huge passion for the sport and commit so much to taking part in events of this kind.

“Well done, girls – we’re really proud of you!” he continued.
