A Fantastic Visit to Nancarrow Farm!

A number of our students enjoyed a fantastic visit to Nancarrow Farm last week, where they learned about organic farming, locality, seasonality and environmental issues such as carbon footprint, energy use and food miles.

Students had a tour of the farm and met the new baby lambs, some chickens and six little pigs!

Following this, they harvested some herbs and edible flowers to make a salsa verde and honey and ricotta crackers. That was before planting a seed to bring home and grow!
