An Insight into the Manufacturing Industry
10 February 202529 of our Year 9 students enjoyed a fantastic day of insight into the manufacturing industry last week when they attended the Cornwall Manufacturers Group Apprenticeship Fair at Cornwall College.
Pupils had the opportunity to talk with employers about the routes into the industry, the qualifications required, and more, before enjoying some practical tasks including using a MIG welder and building wooden solar panelled cars.
Concluding the day, students toured the many facilities that Cornwall College has to offer.
