Behind the Scenes: Opening Week of Student Testing

It’s safe to say that this week’s return to school routine was very different for our students, with all year groups participating in on-site COVID-19 lateral flow testing.

Despite the changes to their routines, pupils adapted to the testing process fantastically well, and our team of staff and volunteers strived to ensure that the experience was as comfortable as possible for students. 

The pictures above feature our team of staff and volunteers operating in the Testing Centre (Sports Hall) and Registration Area (TISA) on the school site.

Next week will see the second and final week of in-school testing take place. Please be assured that there will be members of staff available at all times during the school day to answer any questions or help deal with any worries pupils may have.
