Class of 2024 GCSE Certificates Collection

We are pleased to announce that Class of 2024 students will be able to collect their GCSE certificates and Art/Textiles work (if applicable) from Penryn College on Monday 9 December, 5.00pm – 6.30pm.

Please can Class of 2024 students confirm their attendance via this link by Thursday 5 December.

*Important points to note – please read:

– Please ensure you bring a form of ID (e.g. student ID badge, passport or driving licence) with you, as certificates cannot be issued without this.
– It is really important that all students collect their certificates and store them safely at home for future use.
– Once you enter the workplace, many employers or higher education institutions will require you to present your certificates.
– Should you fail to collect your certificates, we are not required to keep them indefinitely.
– Penryn College will only retain your certificates until 30th November 2025.
– Replacement and copy certificates cannot be obtained from Penryn College. You will have to contact the exam boards yourself to request an official certified statement of results and pay all of the associated fees.
– There’s a fee of approximately £40.00 for each individual exam board and this can prove quite costly.

We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2024 on Monday 9 December to give the certificates in person rather than you go to the trouble and the expense of obtaining official copies.

We do require the students themselves to collect the certificates, however, if this is not possible and an immediate family member will be picking them up, they must come with some form of ID (e.g. passport or driving licence) and written permission from the student.

*Art/Textiles students – if you’re not collecting all of your work on the evening of Monday 9 December, please contact the Art department directly by e-mailing Mr Marshall at wmarshall@penryn-college.cornwall.sch.uk to arrange collection.
