Coronavirus Update
06 March 2020Recently, we have been working with students on how they can play their part in preventing the spread of coronavirus. Teachers have talked to pupils about their responsibilities for maintaining good standards of hygiene and how to wash their hands thoroughly. Hand gel dispensers have been fitted around the school, and a member of staff is available throughout the school day to ensure that toilets and washing facilities are kept clean, tidy, and full of cleaning products. Cleaning staff will also be making sure that door handles, handrails, and other surfaces are kept clean.
Additionally, we would like parents/carers to encourage their children to maintain good standards of hygiene. Please share the following NHS video on how to wash hands: https://www.nhs.uk/video/pages/how-to-wash-hands.aspx.
We will continue to follow the Government of the United Kingdom’s guidelines for education establishments, which we have included links for below. This will give you a clear picture of the advice we will be following. If you have any specific questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
Thank you for your continued support.
