County Sevens Success for Rugby Teams

It’s been a bumper month for County Sevens Rugby competitions, with several of our squads in action across Cornwall!

Starting the month in style, two of our U15 teams took part in the U15 County Sevens Tournament hosted by Redruth School, with one of the squads emerging as champions and earning a place in next year’s All-England Sevens competition! A big well done to both teams!

Our U14 team enjoyed a successful County Sevens Tournament at Camborne RFC last week, reaching the semi-finals in style after emerging as winners of their pool and defeating Treviglas Academy in their quarter-final clash. That was before a closely contested semi-final defeat to 15-a-side County champions Mounts Bay!

And this week saw our U13 team travel to Penair School for the U13 County Sevens Tournament, where they performed fantastically well, picking up three wins and competing in an all-action 4-4 draw with eventual winners Richard Lander!
