Fantastic Results for Foreign Language Speakers

A huge congratulations to our students in Years 9, 10 and 11 who took GCSEs in their home languages this year.

In total, 10 exams were taken in Arabic, French, Italian, Persian, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish, with 62% of students gaining the highest grades of 8 or 9.

Speaking following the results, Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), Mr Ribenfors, was full of praise for the pupils.

“These results are testament to the hard work and dedication of our young people who worked independently, in addition to their timetabled lessons, in order to gain recognition for the languages they speak,” said Mr Ribenfors.
