Helping the Future Generations of Cornwall: Miranda’s Youth Council Manifesto Work

18 November 2024

Year 9 student Miranda is part of an inspiring team of young people who have recently put together and released the Cornwall Youth Council Manifesto – aiming to make positive change to their own and future generations of Cornwall.

As an elected member of the Truro and Falmouth Cornwall Youth Council, Miranda has set out a goal – which has been published in the Manifesto – for children and young people to have more things to do in safe and affordable environments.

Additionally, Miranda is a Member of the Youth Parliament (MYP) for Cornwall, and recently attended a four-day MYP Annual Conference at Warwick University, where she had discussions and debates with over 300 young people.
