Lioness Visits Penryn College

It’s not often that you meet an international sports star, let alone train alongside one, but that’s exactly what our students experienced this week when England and Aston Villa forward Katie Robinson visited Penryn College.

Pupils had the fantastic opportunity to take part in various training drills with 21-year-old Robinson, who was part of the Lionesses squad that reached the Women’s World Cup final last year.

Indeed, throughout the session, the Lioness offered our students lots of encouragement and advice, and stayed behind long after training to sign autographs and have photos taken.
