Memorable County Cup Run for U13 Football Team

The U13 Boys’ Football team’s fantastic journey to the final of the County Cup ended in a narrow 2-0 defeat to Budehaven School on Monday afternoon.

Two goals at the end of each half secured the victory for Penryn’s opponents in what was a closely fought encounter and one of very few chances thanks to some excellent defending from both teams.

Big congratulations to Bude on becoming County Cup champions, and a big well done to the Penryn squad following a wonderful season, which saw over 50 Year 8 boys represent the school in fixtures.
