Pride Art Competition Winners Revealed
13 July 2023We are delighted to reveal the winners of our Pride-themed competition, as organised by our Art Ambassadors – a group of pupils who strive to introduce more opportunities for art activities in school.
The competition was run as part of our Pride Month celebrations, and its brief asked students to use the colours of a Pride flag in an inventive way in order to create a piece of artwork, using materials of any kind.
Indeed, over 50 entries were submitted – all of which were fantastic, and demonstrated imagination, creativity, and a great deal of thought.
However, our panel of judges could only choose three winners, plus three ‘highly commended’ entries, as pictured below.
A huge congratulations to winners Arabella (Year 8), Violet (Year 8) and Eli (Year 9), along with Ella (Year 7) and Regan (Year 9), whose entries were highly commended by our judges.
Additionally, a big well done to everyone who entered the competition, and thank you to our Art Ambassadors, who did a fantastic job in organising everything.
Our Art Ambassadors plan to create more competitions, activities and events in future – so look out for news on these in the future!
