Reading with the Cornish Pirates!

To mark the beginning of our World Book Day celebrations, players of professional rugby club the Cornish Pirates read with – and talked about the importance of reading – with our students this week!

The activity was arranged as part of our ongoing training and mentorship-based partnership with the Pirates, which sees students take part in training sessions led by the first-team squad, as well as player-student mentoring sessions, which focus on the importance of school, sporting advice, and much more.
