U16 Girl’s Football v Pool Academy – National Cup (Home)

Wednesday saw the U16 Girl’s Football team progress to the second round of the National Cup following an exciting penalty shootout victory over Pool Academy.

In what was a fantastic, action-packed encounter, the two teams could not be separated, with the scoreline reading 3-3 at the end of extra time.

And that led to an all-action penalty shootout, which saw Penryn claim the victory.

Year 7 and 8 Boy’s Rugby v Wellington School (Home)

The week’s fixtures continued on Saturday morning as we welcomed Somerset’s Wellington School to Penryn College for four rugby matches – with our Year 7 and Year 8 Boy’s teams in action.

All of the encounters produced some fantastic entertainment and high-energy play, as the autumn sunshine made an appearance to add to the occasion. A big well done to all of the players, and special mention to Year 8 students, Ed and Eli, and Year 7 pupils, Tyler and Tom, who picked up the Player of the Match awards, as selected by Wellington School’s teachers.

A big thank you to Wellington School for visiting us.
