U16 Girl’s Football v Pool Academy – National Cup (Home)
Wednesday saw the U16 Girl’s Football team progress to the second round of the National Cup following an exciting penalty shootout victory over Pool Academy.
In what was a fantastic, action-packed encounter, the two teams could not be separated, with the scoreline reading 3-3 at the end of extra time.
And that led to an all-action penalty shootout, which saw Penryn claim the victory.

Year 7, 8 and 9 Girl’s Netball v Pool Academy (Home)
Thursday evening saw our Year 7, 8 and 9 Girl’s Netball teams face Pool Academy in an exciting set of fixtures.
All of the players produced fantastic performances, with each of Penryn’s teams registering victories over their opponents.

Year 7 Boy’s Rugby v Truro School (Away)
Two of our Year 7 Boy’s Rugby teams took part in fantastic matches against Truro School on Thursday evening.
Unfortunately, both games ended in defeat, but all of the players represented Penryn College with pride ahead of their fixtures against Wellington School.
Reflecting on the encounter, Mr Nancarrow said: “There were plenty of positives to take from both games, setting us up well for the double header against Wellington School on Saturday!”

Year 7 and 8 Boy’s Rugby v Wellington School (Home)
The week’s fixtures continued on Saturday morning as we welcomed Somerset’s Wellington School to Penryn College for four rugby matches – with our Year 7 and Year 8 Boy’s teams in action.
All of the encounters produced some fantastic entertainment and high-energy play, as the autumn sunshine made an appearance to add to the occasion. A big well done to all of the players, and special mention to Year 8 students, Ed and Eli, and Year 7 pupils, Tyler and Tom, who picked up the Player of the Match awards, as selected by Wellington School’s teachers.

U14 and Year 8 Girl’s Hockey v Truro School (Away)
Our Under 14/Year 8 Girl’s Hockey team travelled to Truro on Wednesday to face Truro School.
Despite losing the match, each of Penryn’s players demonstrated fantastic bravery and resilience.
