Year 7 Boy’s Hockey v Penrice Academy (Home)
Tuesday saw the Year 7 Boy’s Hockey team take on Penrice’s mixed Year 7 and 8 team at Penryn College.
It was a fantastic encounter, with many pupils playing their first-ever hockey match.
Penryn ran out winners on the day, with Mattias picking up the Player of the Match award, as nominated by Penrice’s team.

Year 7 and 8 Rugby v Penair School (Home and Away)
Last week, our Year 7 and 8 Rugby teams took part in four fixtures against Penair School.
Our Year 7 teams played three home games, with one squad in action on Tuesday, and our A and B teams in action on Thursday. All games provided fantastic, closely-fought entertainment, with lots of tries, enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship involved.

Thursday also saw our Year 8 team travel to Penair, where they enjoyed a hard-fought game against their opponents.

U14 Rugby v Pool Academy – County Cup 1st Round (Away)
Our U14 Rugby team enjoyed a fantastic start to the week, securing a first-round victory over Pool Academy on Monday.
The win was a result of a fantastic team performance from the whole squad.

Year 11 Boy’s Rugby – U16 County Tournament at Newquay Tretherras
Our Year 11 Performance Sport Rugby team took part in an action-packed County tournament on Wednesday afternoon.
Standout performances from Mackenzie and Dan, along with a fantastic intercepting try by Shane, were among the highlights from the day.
A big thank you to Newquay Tretherras for hosting the tournament.
Next week, our Year 9, 10 and 11 teams travel to Wellington School for fixtures. Additionally, we will be hosting Pool School for a group set of matches.
Year 7-10 Netball v Camborne Academy (Away)
Our Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 Netball teams enjoyed fixtures against Camborne Academy on Thursday.
All teams performed fantastically well, registering four victories on the day.

Year 11 Netball v Newquay Tretherras 6th Form (Home)
Last week saw our Year 11 Performance Sport Netball team register a fantastic victory over Newquay Tretherras 6th Form.
The Player of the Match was Jocelyn.

Year 7-10 Netball v Penrice Academy (Home)
Our Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 Netball teams took part in another exciting set fixtures on Tuesday, when they hosted Penrice Academy.
All players competed fantastically well, representing the school with pride.

Year 11 Boy’s Football v Penair School – National Cup (Home)
Our Year 11 Boy’s Football team secured a spot in the third round of the National Cup on Tuesday evening, following a 2-1 victory over Penair School.
Goals from Charlie and Alex topped off a great team performance on the day.

U12 and U14 Girl’s Football v Pool Academy – National Cup (Away)
Thursday saw both our U12 and U14 Girl’s Football teams in National Cup action away at Pool Academy.
The U12 side secured a spot in the second round following a fantastic 2-1 victory, with Keira netting twice!
Meanwhile, despite a brilliant performance, the U14 side exited the competition, with Megan picking up the Player of the Match award.
