Students Enjoy Fantastic Day of Cricket at Somerset CCC

Our students saw a number of world-class cricketers in action earlier this month when they visited the County Ground for Somerset’s home fixture versus Warwickshire.

England internationals Jack Leach and Chris Woakes were among the stars on the pitch, and our pupils had the opportunity to take selfies with and chat to the sportsmen on the day.

The match itself was one for the history books, and one that students can say they were there for, with Somerset chasing down 410 – the second-highest total in the club’s history – to clinch a famous victory.
