Students Meet Variety of Animals in Latest Duchy College Visit!

Our pupils’ latest trip to Duchy College Rosewarne saw them spend time with hedgehogs, donkeys, horses, mules, tortoises, and more!

Students started in the Rodent Room before meeting, bathing and handling Harriet (pictured above) – an African pygmy hedgehog.

Next up was a visit to the donkey and horse area, where pupils met two mules and learned about Wallace, who is famous for being the first mule to win a British dressage competition!

And last, but certainly not least, our students met Fred – a 98-year-old tortoise who recently awoke from his 93rd winter hibernation!
