Students Produce Fantastic Results in Rotary Young Chef Competition

Thursday saw four of our fantastic chefs compete in the Rotary Young Chef Competition at Penryn College!

Chef judges from the Greenbank Hotel were extremely impressed by the high standard of skills demonstrated, and commented on the focus and dedication of our pupils.

The dishes chosen by the students showed a wide range of complex and technical skills: Chocolate Fondants, Pan-Fried Sea Bass with Parsnip Puree, Fresh Homemade Tortellini, and an exquisite Toffee Apple Eton Mess were included on the menu, with everyone in attendance blown away by the results.

Lizzy and Holly will now compete in the upcoming Rotary Young Chef Cornwall Final.
