Students Shine in Young Writers Awards

A huge well done to students Florence, Isla, Lily and Dylan, who have been rewarded for their fantastic writing skills in the Fowey Festival Awards for Young Writers and Artists.

Tasked with producing an original picture, poem, short story or factual piece of writing on the theme of celebrations – Florence, Isla and Lily won awards in the Key Stage 3 Poetry category, with Florence placing first, Isla placing second, and Lily earning a ‘Highly Commended’ award.

Additionally, Dylan placed second in the Key Stage 3 Story category.

Florence, Isla, Lily and Dylan are part of Miss Robertson’s Key Stage 3 Creative Writing Club, where they developed their skills ahead of entering the competition.

Creative Writing Club takes place every Thursday, 3.30pm – 4.30pm, in room E2!
