Students Star at National Brass Band Finals
18 September 2024Massive congratulations to pupils Maisy, Daisy, Milly, Charlie and Dory, who represented St Keverne Band and took on Britain’s finest at the National Brass Band Championship Finals earlier this month.
The five students helped St Keverne finish in eighth position out of 19 competing bands at the prestigious event, which was held at Cheltenham Racecourse.
It follows their success earlier this year when they were part of a St Keverne Band that placed second out of 15 competing bands at the West of England Regional Championships – a feat which secured their spot in the Finals.
