Student Council

The Penryn College Student Council is comprised of student representatives from all years. These representatives meet once a month to discuss ideas, suggestions and concerns from students across the school. They work together with staff to help make decisions that will improve school life.

Members of the Student Council regularly deliver assemblies to report on their activities and seek further input from the rest of the school community.

Each year, the Student Council invites nominations from students and staff for the School Charity, and organise a voting process.

The Student Council’s activities uphold the fundamental British Values of democracy, the rule of law, tolerance of different beliefs and points of view, and individual liberty.
