U14 Netball Players Reach Semi-Finals of National Schools Cup

The U14 Netball Team booked a place in the semi-finals of the National Schools Cup with a fantastic 51-46 victory over St Swithun’s School at Penryn College on Wednesday.

In what was a dramatic, closely-fought encounter, both teams showed their quality throughout, with Penryn converting a number of impressive defensive turnovers into points.

Penryn maintained a narrow lead throughout the tie: at half-time the scoreboard read 27-25 in the hosts’ favour, and heading into the final quarter Penryn led 40-36, before closing out the match to register a memorable 51-46 victory. 

Penryn will face Berkhamsted School for a place in National Schools Cup final in the coming weeks.
