U15 Netball Team Crowned County Schools Champions

Penryn College’s U15 Netball players were crowned County Schools Netball champions on Friday, following their fantastic run of results during the competition, which was staged at Truro School.

Penryn remained undefeated throughout the 22-team tournament – registering group stage victories against Mounts Bay School, The Roseland Academy, Wadebridge School, and Humphry Davy School, before defeating Truro School, Penair School, Truro High School, Penrice Academy, and Richard Lander School in the competition’s final rounds.

Speaking following the conclusion of the tournament, Penryn College Netball Coach and PE Teacher, Mrs Walker, said: “It was an fantastic tournament performance – the girls showed great versatility. The next tournament for this squad will be the Regional Qualifiers in October, which is a great goal to work towards.”
