Year 11 Girls Shine for Local Rugby Team

A big well done to Year 11 students Poppy, Jess and Bronnen, who have put in some fantastic performances for The Sirens (Penryn, Perranporth and Truro) Women’s Rugby team in recent weeks.

All three of the girls were praised for their displays against Wadebridge earlier this month. Jess then participated again last weekend against Redruth, demonstrating how versatile she can be, playing on the wing and covering at 9.

Well done on your continued hard work and commitment, girls!

Would you like to give rugby a try?

Penryn College Rugby

Any girls from any year group who would like to give rugby a go are welcome to attend Girls’ Rugby at Penryn College on a Wednesday, 3.35pm – 4.35pm. Please meet by the STP. No experience is necessary.

Penryn RFC

Penryn RFC Girls’ Rugby is a held on a Friday, from 5.30pm – 6.45pm. Training takes place on the school’s STP. Again, no experience is required. Come along for a few trial sessions to see if you enjoy it!

All age groups, from U12 – U16 are welcome. Please speak to Miss Stone in STEAM if you would like any further information.
