Year 7 Footballers Reach County Cup Final

This week saw our Year 7 Girls’ Football team continue their outstanding season following a 3-0 County Cup semi-final victory over Pool Academy.

With both sides battling the high winds, first-half goals from Joss and Isla, plus Zara’s second-half strike, helped Penryn secure a spot in the final.

Indeed, it was a fantastic team performance – with a mixture of clinical finishing, a fantastic defensive display from Joss, Poppie and Layla, Quilla’s ever reliable display in goal, and Claudia’s majestic midfield performance.

The girls can now look forward to the final, which is scheduled to take place at Wadebridge Town Football Club on Wednesday 30 April!
